This website came to life because many of our friends and family have been deeply interested in our story, our project, and the goal we’re striving to achieve. They wanted to share it with their own friends and loved ones who also found it meaningful. That’s why we created this website – to keep our story, our hopes, and our journey all together, so anyone who cares can follow along and be part of it.
Our goal is to reach a SECOND SUNRISE – a symbol of a new morning and new opportunities in life.
We’re a married couple in our early 50s, going through challenging times, and we believe that with the help of our community we can start a new chapter. Thank you for being here – your visit and your interest already mean the world to us.

The Story Behind Our Second Sunrise
Behind this project is something deeply personal.
We are a couple in our early 50s, holding on to love through the long shadows of illness and uncertainty. Multiple sclerosis changed everything about our daily life, and the growing instability in the world made us question whether our home was still a safe place.
Out of these struggles, a quiet dream was born — to find peace, dignity, and a new start in a place where healing feels possible.
We created Our Second Sunrise not just to share our story, but to invite those who care to walk a little of this journey with us.
Behind every word is a real life — two people holding on to each other through illness, fear, and the quiet hope that somewhere, a gentler future is still possible.
